East Carolina?transfer Kurt Benkert will be the starting quarterback for the Virginia Cavaliers?this season, coach Bronco Mendenhall announced Wednesday.Benkert got the nod over returning starter Matt Johns, who is now listed as the co-backup with Connor Brewer.
